Journal of the Southeastern Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies. Five-year changes in pond sediment nutrients and His research has been aided and performed with the collaboration of dozens of graduate students and more than 100 undergraduate students. Current research in his lab includes examining how increased storm intensity is changing the fate and transport of pollutants, using ecological principals to maximize fish hatchery pond productivity, assessing wetland restoration and reducing toxic algal blooms in drinking water supplies. He has published dozens of scientific research articles, given more than 100 scholarly presentations and successfully garnered over $22 million to fund research, teaching and service. He was a collaborator and co-author on the first major book on ecological engineering (using knowledge of ecological principals to solve human problems). ![]() Reeder’s scientific research focuses on wetland biogeochemistry and aquatic ecology.
